Which exam is right for you?

For graduation and selection at home — TOEFL ITP is the test most Indonesians actually take. Its threshold is an institution pattern (around 450–500), not a national rule, and “prediction” certificates from course providers are accepted by some institutions and rejected by others. We never market practice scores as TOEFL scores.

For scholarships and study — IELTS Academic (or TOEFL iBT if your university asks for it). One IELTS sitting at British Council Indonesia costs Rp3.600.000, so preparation that gets you through once is far cheaper than repeating.

For working abroad — IELTS General Training for migration and the Australian WHV (Functional English: an average of 4.5), Marlins and interviews for cruise ships. And one fact that is often mis-sold: New Zealand has no Working Holiday scheme for Indonesia.

The details of each track — entry level, target, and its factual limits — are on the exam preparation page.
