Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers on learning, exams, prices, and privacy.
What is this platform?
An English-learning platform from A1.1 to B2.2, organised as eight CEFR levels. Every level contains a guided course, grammar, reading, listening, vocabulary, and a final check per skill — plus a separate exam-training layer for TOEFL ITP, IELTS, TOEFL iBT 2026, TOEIC, and Marlins.
What is the difference between the main course and the exam tracks?
The main course builds your actual language ability. The exam tracks teach the test format as a skill of its own: question types, time strategy, and grading criteria. Passing an exam without enough language does not last; having the language without knowing the format hurts you too. Both are trained separately and honestly.
Which levels are available?
Eight sub-levels: A1.1, A1.2, A2.1, A2.2, B1.1, B1.2, B2.1, B2.2 — all eight are complete and fully built, from the free A1.1 to B2.2, the final level. The status of each level is always stated as it is on its course page. C1 is not built as a general course; C1 material appears as feeder material inside the exam tracks.
Why is there no C2 level?
Because almost no gate in Indonesia asks for it, and the cost is large: the Cambridge guidelines estimate C2 at 1,000–1,200 cumulative guided hours. Our paid promise stops at B2.2 — IELTS 6.0–6.5 territory.
How long does one level take?
Following the Cambridge guided hours: about 45–50 hours for an A half-level, about 85–100 hours for a B half-level. At 30–60 minutes a day, one A level takes about 2–4 months and one B level about 4–7 months. These are guideline estimates, not promises — your pace depends on your consistency and your starting point.
What is the vocabulary target?
Our productive targets: A1 400–600 words, then roughly +600–800 at A2, +1,000–1,200 at B1, and +1,500 high-frequency words at B2. All of these figures are planning estimates — neither CEFR nor Cambridge sets an official word count for any level.
Which exam do I need?
It depends on your gate: campus graduation and CPNS/state-owned enterprises usually mean TOEFL ITP (the 450–500 pattern — always check your institution’s announcement); LPDP and study abroad usually mean IELTS Academic 6.5 (Master) or 7.0 (Doctoral); the Australian WHV uses Functional English evidence equal to an IELTS average of 4.5; cruise ships use Marlins and interviews. The details are on the Exams page.
Can I use practice scores here to apply?
No. Our practice is preparation, not an official test, and we do not issue “prediction” certificates that pretend to be TOEFL or IELTS scores. Official scores come only from official test providers.
How much does it cost?
A1.1 is free forever. The following levels are a one-time investment — access until you pass that level in the app + 6 months (max. 3 years); the per-level prices are currently still placeholders (A1.2 Rp149.000 to B2.2 Rp299.000) awaiting a final decision. Monthly Pro opens every level while you pay.
What is in the free version?
A1.1 with no registration, the level test, and the grammar rules for every level. A free account starts a 7-day Pro trial: every published level — no card needed.
How do payments, cancellation, and refunds work?
Payments go through an Indonesian payment provider (QRIS, e-wallets, virtual accounts). Pro can be cancelled at any time and stops at the end of the period. Payment problems are handled through WhatsApp support once its official number is published.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The learning app is a PWA: it runs in a modern browser — desktop, tablet, and phone — can be installed on your home screen like an app, and its shell stays open when the connection drops. There is no app-store download.
Do I need a microphone?
Only for speaking practice and the speaking part of the level test. Everything else needs just a keyboard and a speaker or earphones.
How is my data handled?
